Thank you to Hanna and Tessa for entering, it is really interesting to see the exact same field in two TC races! Please remember to come back for the Belmont in three weeks.
The Preakness Stakes - Grade I - 1 3/16 - 3 yo open gender – dirt - $1 million purse 1st - Freezing Rain (3) 2nd - Hoarfrost (8) 3rd - Cool Catch (10) 4th - S Candy Striper (10) 5th - S Echoed Passion (11) 6th - S Issued Notice (12) 7th - Tropical Storm (12) 8th – Eurostorm (19) 9th - Suddenly Seattle (20)
*Purse Breakdown is the same as for the Derby*
_______________________________________________ How To Decide the Winner (for Triple Crown Races) - Randomize 3 times - Write out the placings for each horse (ie 1st, 7th, and 9th) - ADD the number of places away from first together for the total (ie 6+8 = 14) - SUBTRACT 1 ‘point’ for a 1st place finish (14 – 1 = 13) - Number in (#) is your deciding factor (lowest number wins) - If there are two horses with the same number, those two horses are randomized again
